1. Who this is with
The Leverage and Lead podcast is produced by Vision Marketing and Design LLC of Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted by Bridget Bartlett and Marla Harmon. In these terms, "we" and "us" means the show. "You" means you, the guest.
2. We own the recording
We record, edit, produce, and pay for the episode. We own the recording, the finished episode, the audio, the video, the clips, the thumbnails, the artwork, and the titles and descriptions. You keep your own ideas, your own brand, and anything you already owned before you showed up. Being a guest does not give you any ownership in the episode.
3. How you may share your episode
We want you to share it. Please do. Here is how.
You may share the link we send you on any of your channels, as many times as you like. You may repost, quote, or embed our post. You may tag us, comment, and tell people to go watch. You may put the link in your newsletter, your website, your bio, and your media page.
That is the whole list, and it is on purpose. When people follow your link, the view lands on our channel, which is how the show grows and how we keep paying for the production.
4. What you may not do
Please do not download the episode or any clip of it. Please do not upload it, or any part of it, to your own YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, website, podcast feed, course, or anywhere else. Please do not re-edit it, re-cut it, add captions to it, or make your own clips from it. Please do not run ads using it. Please do not give it to anyone else to post.
If you post a copy, we will ask you to take it down, and you agree to remove it right away. If it stays up, we may file a takedown notice with the platform.
5. What we do to promote you
We handle the promotion. We publish the full episode, cut short clips and post them across our platforms, email our list about it, and run paid ads to the episode so it keeps reaching people long after it airs. Those clips run on our channels. We are happy for you to share any of it by link.
6. Your permission to us
You give us permission to record the interview and to use it forever, worldwide, in any format, with no payment to you. That includes using your name, your voice, your image, your bio, your headshot, your business name, your logo, and things you said on the show, to publish and promote the episode, the show, and our brands. It includes editing the episode however we think is best, using pieces of it in clips, trailers, ads, emails, courses, and social posts, and republishing it later.
We will not sell your contact information.
7. What you are promising us
- You have the right to be on the show and nothing stops you from being here.
- You own or have permission to use anything you bring with you, like slides, images, music, or client stories.
- You will not share anyone's private or confidential information.
- You will not say anything false or harmful about another person or company.
- What you say about yourself, your results, and your business is true.
8. Topics you would rather skip
Tell us on the application. We will respect it. We may still edit the episode as we see fit.
9. This is not a paid appearance
Nobody pays anybody. You are not our employee, partner, or contractor. Any offer you make our audience is yours to honor, not ours.
10. We decide if and when it publishes
We may publish the episode, hold it, edit it, unpublish it, or never release it. That call is ours.
11. If these terms are broken
If you post a copy of our content, we may ask you to remove it, file a takedown, and decline future appearances. We can also remove the episode.
12. The small print
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Indiana. If part of this does not hold up, the rest still stands. This is the whole agreement about the recording. Questions before you book, just reply to our email.
